Payment Types

Private Pay: We accept Cash, Credit Cards, and Checks with proper ID.

We currently accept the following Insurance: Anthem EAP-Bank of America, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield* of Texas, Blue Cross Blue Shield* of Massachusetts (Virtual Only), Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey* (Virtual Only), Quest Behavioral Health, United Health Care

*We currently do NOT accept Blue Cross Blue Shield for Couples or Family Counseling.

We do insurance billing through Headway. Keep in mind that insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis to cover services and we will need to do an assessment if you have not been provided with a prior diagnosis. If you have a prior diagnosis please be prepared to provide documentation of the diagnosis, a letter from your provider stating the diagnosis is sufficient. If you would prefer not to have a diagnosis you have the option to choose private pay.

Some health savings accounts (HSA or FSA) will cover the cost of services so it may be helpful to check if you can use your HSA or FSA card to pay for services or if you need a detailed receipt in order to request a reimbursement.

Sliding Fee Program

In order to make our services available to clients who might not otherwise be able to afford our fees, we offer a sliding fee program. This provides a 20%, 40%, or 60% discount on session costs based on the family's monthly income and family size. To apply complete the application online or schedule a free consultation and mention the sliding fee program and we will email you a link to complete the application.

Reduced Intern Rates

At Life Coach Round Rock We Believe Mental Health Should Be Accessible to All. Our values involve inclusivity and we do not want financial constraints to stop anyone from seeking counseling services. We offer reduced rates with our master’s level counseling interns. Our interns are selected with a rigorous process and receive extensive training, supervision and support.

• Intern Intake Session Rate - $80

• Intern 60-minute Individual or Couples/Family Session Rate - $65

• Our sliding fee program applies to intern rates as well which can make counseling incredibly affordable for those who need it but are currently working with limited resources. The sliding fee program can reduce fees by 20%, 40% and 60% depending on income and family size. This can bring an individual session with an intern down to just $29.00 per session. Please mention interest in the sliding fee program during your free consultation or apply online.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. Our services are offered on an as needed basis so we have created a good faith estimate that you can access at any time that provides an overview of how much services could cost depending on the frequency and length of time you choose to work with us.

Give Back Program

Giving back to our community is very important to use so we offer a 10% discount to all US Service men and women, Veterans, Teachers, Police and Fire personnel, and their immediate spouse/domestic partner and minor children. It is our way of saying thank you for your service to our community. Let us know if you qualify when you schedule your intake session! Discounts cannot be applied retroactively and cannot be combined with already discounted services.

Services

Intake Session - $200

• Single, 60-minute private appointment for individuals, couples, families, or groups. The Intake Session gives you the time needed to review intake paperwork, answer questions, provide background information, explore your goals in detail, and get to work. We believe in making every session count.

Individual Session - $150

• Single, 60-minute individual session of Life Coaching or Counseling/Therapy

• Appropriate for adults, young adults, and teens, age 15 and older

• To work on life goals, career goals, stress management, work-life balance, personal development, relationship skills, communication skills, mental health treatment (depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, etc.), anger management, sobriety goals, etc.

Couple / Children / Family Session (Couples, Families, and Other Groups) - $150

• Single, 60-minute group session of Life Coaching or Counseling/Therapy

• Appropriate for couples/relationships of all types, families, or other groups (friends, roommates, business partners, etc.). Sessions for children and adolescents under 18 must always include a parent or guardian for some portion of the appointment.

• To work on relationship skills needed for a mutually satisfying and functional relationship, such as positive communication skills, how to argue without fighting, setting good boundaries, how to listen so that others feel heard, perspective taking, parenting strategies, effective co-parenting, family dynamics, adjusting to family or life transitions, and so much more.

Group Therapy - $60

Recurring, 60-minute group sessions of Life Coaching or Counseling/Therapy

• Appropriateness for group depends on the type of group, all group members must complete a free consultation to assess their appropriateness for the group of interest and an intake session. We offer groups covering various topics to best support our clients. Please check the Group Therapy page to see what groups are currently being offered.

Longer Sessions

• If you believe that you will need more than the usual 60-minutes for a session you can discuss this with your clinician. They can allocate more time for your appointment and prevent abrupt breaks in the work. Additional time may also be added during a session at your request if our schedule permits (Important: Longer Sessions are not covered by insurance and are an out of pocket expense unless medically necessary due to crisis).

Career Coaching Resume Review - $200

• Single 60-minute session

• Appropriate for individuals who are getting ready for a job change or are having difficulty getting call-backs for an interview.

• Your career coach will review your resume and cover letter prior to the appointment and provide feedback and tips to help your resume shine. Session time can also be used to discuss career goals, practice interviewing, and discuss networking strategies for getting past those hiring bots.

• Career coaching is not covered by insurance.

Current Group Coaching/Therapy Available

Group - $60 a session

• The cost of participating in a group is $60 a session. The expectation is that you will attend each session for a minimum of 8 sessions (total cost $480) because you are making a commitment to yourself and your fellow group members to show up and your spot in the group is reserved for you.

All potential group members will be chosen to participate based on the compatibility of their goals with the goals of the group and their commitment to their growth. We believe that having group participants at various stages of their development creates rich conversations where group members support one another.
